Bio

David Morrison was born in the maritime city of Liverpool, England. The son of a paratrooper and the grandson of a ship's captain, his extended family have close ties to the sea and all branches of the military. He attended university in London and graduated with an honours degree in economics.

He has extensive experience in the construction industry and  designed and built his  own house in his spare time. He also has 30 years experience in the financial sector, specifically commercial banking and information technology.

He has been married twice, divorced twice and financially ruined - twice. However, despite the odds, he bounced back on each occasion with characteristic charm and grace. He has two adult sons and has now settled for a string of expensive mistresses - apparently, it's cheaper.

David is an accomplished guitarist, writing and producing three albums of largely instrumental music with a fourth album now in production.

David is a publihsed poet, novelist and photographer as well as a keen portrait artist. He draws family portraits and those of more famous people he admires. His wider interests include philosophy, mysticism, religion and ancient history.
